Elijah
Black brings a sense of
melody to the table that is tasteful and demanding. He is
one of the elite vocalists in our hometown of Akron and
we consider him to be the key ingredient to the standard
of future “Akronite” vocalists. Although the band is a
seasoned well composed band, his voice is what sets them
apart from their competition. Power, range, control and
diction. It’s all there.
-Akron Jillians Live Review
Elijah’s brilliant solo attempt,
released May 2004, is the strongest to date of any release.
This 10 song album illustrates the songwriting diversity and
growth of a devoted artist. “
It’sevident
Elijah is not looking back. Each
song is so well crafted, that Elijah’s
voice and
guitars are shrouded in beautiful melodies that unify the
artist and his song.” His lyrics make his music universal. His
compassion comes out in every note he sings and every chord he
strums . . . Scene
Magazine.”
Elijah Black has done opening stints
for Motley Crue,
Styx, Neil Young, Cinderella, Deep Purple, Dream Theatre,
Nazareth, Blue Oyster Cult, Ratt, Jackyl and more. In
April of 2000, Elijah
was invited
by special invitation to appear with his band Peace Tree on
national television on The Jenny Jones
Show.
Kid Rock recently on the
nationally acclaimed Howard Stern
Show spoke
with Elijah
and said
“Dude, you got a great voice” after listening to early demo
Tracks and earlier releases.
Recently Elijah Black's "Beautiful" from his
smash hit release, "Better Man" was ranked 3rd Best Song Of
The Year, LOGO MTV Click List. His new Music Video (in
